E-Sports & Local Sports – sky123 The Next Generation's Choice

One thing that sets sky123 apart from other sports betting platforms in Malaysia is our commitment to esports and local sports. While other platforms remain focused solely on European leagues, sky123 has long recognised that Malaysian players also want to bet on sports close to their hearts — the Malaysia Super League, Malaysia Open badminton, and local esports leagues like MPL MY.

Esports in particular has grown rapidly in Malaysia over recent years. With an expanding community of Mobile Legends, DOTA 2 and Valorant players, demand for esports betting has risen alongside it. sky123 meets this demand by providing full coverage of major Malaysian and international esports events, with odds updated live throughout every match.

For badminton fans, sky123 understands just how much this sport means to Malaysians. Whenever Malaysian players like Lee Zii Jia compete on the international stage, you can count on sky123 to offer comprehensive odds and markets — not just match winners, but also set handicaps, total games, and a wide range of in-play markets that make every match even more exciting to follow.

Sports Betting Guide at sky123 – For New and Experienced Bettors

If you're just getting started with Sports Betting on sky123, the most important thing is to understand the available markets and begin with the simplest ones. The 1X2 market — where you simply pick a home win, draw or away win — is the perfect starting point. The odds are easy to read and the outcome is straightforward.

Once you're comfortable with the basic markets, the next step is to explore Asian Handicap. This market gives a goal advantage to the weaker team to level the playing field. For example, if Johor DT is given a -1.5 handicap against a weaker side, they need to win by 2 or more goals for your bet to win. Asian Handicap odds are typically more competitive than standard 1X2 markets.

For more experienced bettors, parlay or accumulator bets are a popular way to multiply winnings across several matches at once. A common strategy is to combine 3 to 5 matches you feel most confident about — from the Malaysia Super League, the EPL, and perhaps a badminton match — into a single parlay ticket. Combined odds can reach 10x or more, giving a small stake the potential to deliver a sizeable return.

One important tip that new players often overlook: don't bet based purely on emotion or loyalty to your favourite team. sky123 provides match statistics, head-to-head records and the latest performance data to help you make more informed betting decisions. Use this information as the foundation of your analysis before placing any bet.
